Use to go here a long time ago, and decided I wanted a pastrami sub. When you first go unless you’ve been here recently it’s confusing what door to go to in order to get in the establishment. There isn’t signs stating what door to enter. At first I thought it was closed. When you walk in of course it looks like a deli, but definitely out dated. Of course nostalgia is great, but this place just needs some fresh paint maybe. Not very inviting. The girls behind the counter didn’t act like they wanted to be there. Not very congenial. No smiles. The pastrami sub I ordered was doused in mustard which took allot of flavor away from the pastrami. When I got to the other half of the sub I just ate the meat because too much mustard. The sub isn’t bad, but not a fav. They don’t use the best pastrami nor cheese. It’s very thin slices, stringy, peppery, and allot of fat. The pastrami is very dry and over cooked. I remember these being so much better years ago. The cheese is almost like plastic. Doesn’t really melt. Not really a fan anymore. For the price it’s reasonable.
Been coming here for years for their unique sub sandwiches, mmm so good!
Fast, quick, great service. Fantastic food.
Best Sub Sandwich around. Been going to Santoros since the mid 60's
Love the food and the service! Kayla is sweet
I love this place. All the fixings and bread are fresh. Simple but perfectly balanced sandwiches. They have the ratio of onions, pickles, and oil spot on for me. I've been coming here a few times a year for about 15 years.
The best hot subs; I took home a combination sausage and meatballs. The pastrami is also great.
