AMAZING FOOD AND POUTINE. GREATEST STAFF. CLEANEST BATHROOMS. FUN VIBE. My husband the foodie marked this as a go-to on his foodie ap. We kinda want to live here.
Saturday afternoon right at opening time. So fries and chips were very freshly made. Had the Banh Mi and Jolene - delish. Great, friendly service.
Went for the Friday Fish Fry and it sid not disappoint. The batter was well seasoned, crisp, and in good proportion to the fish. The fish flaky, moist, and was not greasy at all. The tartar sauce was delicious, not just some mayo with pickles. The coke slaw was absolutely delicious, not dry or coated in Mayo. I only wish they served a larger portion of the slaw. The fries are great and the aioli sauce is great. Talking with the cooks, the tartar, Cole slaw, and aioli are all made on site each day. Definitely going to return to try some of their other offerings.
Place was quiet. We were the probably the last table of the night. The fish was great! Crispy and flaky. The sandwiches looked great on the menu can't wait to go back to try one of them next!
Had a feeling I should visit the place and I'm glad I did! Alexander is the man and the culinary crusader is chill as well. Definitely worth a look.
Food-ordered the Jolene. So much flavor. Juicy chicken. Fries. Good crunch on the outside. Good chewy inside. Seasoned with salt beautifully. Had the blue berry blast cider on tap. Was delicious.
Tony S. Outstanding gentleman. Polite, and a good conversation keeper.
I got there at about 630pm it was quiet, with good background music.
Always a good sandwich and cold beer.
Way more than I was expecting in all aspects. Super friendly staff, awesome decor, and the food was amazing
This is what they serve as “deviled eggs” 🤢 Runny and gross. This is not a devil eggs. Literally just Mayo or whatever and seasoning. Super disappointed. Don’t even think I could come back.
Sandwhich was eh. Kinda dry and bland. Bread was burnt
Seriously good eats!!! Yummm!
Would be 5 stars if they were open on Sundays. I typically only go out to lunch on Sunday and they're one of the only places that are closed. Missed opportunity for business for sure!
Fantastic sandwiches and fries. Love their rotating menu options, always something fun and new to try. The parmesan aioli is the bomb with their fries.
First time being there and the waitress was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was chill and kinda 90s. Made me feel right at ease. I got the Tommy Salami and my bf got the Jolene. The fries with the sauce oh my! It all was delicious. We will definitely be going back several times to try each sandwich :)
It may be surprising to hear about a sandwich shop, but their Friday Fish Fry was the best I've had besides my own Dad's. The breading on the cod was perfect and the fries are the bomb. The staff at the Sandwich Bar are always great.
I ate my food so fast I didn't take a picture.
Great hot sandwiches! Cool vibe!
Definitely not dog friendly! We stopped to order food Togo while on a walk downtown to enjoy the good sunny Saturday. Were greeted and then ignored. I had my little dog in my arms, but just wanted to quick place order and was going to wait outside. I understand that dogs are not allowed, but the way I was approached was really rude. I was told to get out. I guess they need a patio. I will never be back. You can have amazing food, but if you have unfriendly staff, it will break you. Went to Drafthouse, sat on patio. The food and staff were amazing.
