Great experience on our winery tour from San Diego. Paul Anthony was wonderful and the value of the wine and food pairing at the two wineries we visited was great. Definitely recommend this experience to my future clients.
My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon in San Diego. My parents were visiting a few years ago and did the train tour. Unfortunately, due to to COVID, they are no longer running the train tour, so we decided to do the chauffeured wine tour. We visited two wineries, were picked up and dropped off by our tour guide and had charcuterie at the first winery (and visited shops), and dinner at the next winery. Everything was awesome! The wine, the food, all outstanding. Our tour guide, Paul Anthony was so much fun, personable and had a wealth of knowledge to share about San Diego and wine. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Company cancelled my 2 reservations 4 days before the tour. At the time of booking online, it showed 3 available spots. Very disappointing - company is in desperate need of a more accurate and efficient system.
My daughter and I went on this chauffeured wine tour while I was visiting her in San Diego. It was just what we were looking for! Generous pours, plenty of food, beautiful wineries and door-to-door service. Also little extras like chocolate pairings made the trip even nicer. Paul Anthony was great and provided lots of information about the area as well as the development of wineries in San Diego. Highly recommend this tour! I hope to do it again next time I'm in SD.
The flight, food and service at Republic downtown were fantastic.
we enjoy food and the two wineries that we visited paul was a great
We had a great day on our chauffeured wine tour. Went to two wineries in the area. The first stop was super cute, had some great large pours with charcuterie that was delicious and a cute little village for shopping. Second stop offered great views. Our guide Paul Anthony was super knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting SD!
We loved this tour. We rented an entire bus for our wedding weekend and went to one winery and had an amazing lunch then to a brewery. Our guests really enjoyed getting to see the beautiful side of La Jolla and getting to taste of local wine and beers. Our tour guide was awesome and the people at both the winery and brewery were so accommodating. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day. We LOVED having a big group.
PLEASE read if you want honest review. Let me start by saying it was a fun tour and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The problem is this is not a wine train, nor should it be advertised as so on their website. Most of the tour is in local San Diego. You do take a train that allows you to see about 30 seconds of the coast. I am convinced taking this public train is only so they can advertise as a “wine train” My friends and I are local to San Diego and wanted to try something different. Everything on this tour can be done without a tour guide without spending extra money to take a train. If anyone is really interested in what a wine train is suppose to be look up Napa Valley wine train.
