Bartender was very friendly. We asked for menus but received no rollups/side plates from Bartender- had to ask the food runner. Food came out really fast - like in 5 minutes I got the Shrimp Basket - shrimp were fine but the fries were hot but soggy - needed 2-3 more minutes of cooking. My wife got the Grilled Chicken Tacos. They hadgood flavor, but the chicken was dry. All in all this place is progressing nicely for a recently opened restaurant. The Tampa location is outstanding so I have every belief this location will turn into the gem of Clermont in no time.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They had only been open for 2 weeks the night we were there, so I was expecting glitches, but there were none. I was very impressed with our server, Hannah. Very attentive and cognizant of our needs. All the staff seemed like a happy, efficient, hard-working team. Shows management did a great job with training. We were a Party of Five. For appetizers we had tuna tartare with avacado (excellent) and smoked fish dip (very good). Two of us had the fried grouper bites basket with fries, one had boiled shrimp, one fish tacos, one the crab cake sandwich. All were excellent. We sampled each other's, and all commented on the flavorful breading on the grouper bites. I usually don't care for tartar sauce, but I actually liked their recipe. And the cocktail sauce might be the best I've had. I had asked Hannah to bring me extra because I like to dip my fries in it also, and not only did she remember to bring extra, but then when she noticed my wife was also eating it she brought even more. And speaking of the fries, they were very good and cooked just the way I like them. It was late and the crowd was thinning by the time we left, so I walked around and took some pictures which I will attach. They have a separate outside seating area and had some heaters going since it was very cold the night we were there, and they also have undercover outdoor seating on the lake side and the west side. There's a bunch of Adirondack chairs on the beach that looked very inviting.

We got sat quickly. Our server was delightful. The food took a long time to come out, but Im pretty sure it was a fluke though. Great tasting food.

Very cool place, nothing fancy but the food and service is outstanding! We had the gator bites and fish tacos both were delicious and delivered super fast! They are located right on the water and even have their own private beach... plenty of seating both inside and out. A must vist whe you're in Claremont!

I took my mother there today for lunch. We had been looking forward to trying them out. First the positives. They are by far better than Lilly on the Lakes was. The food was okay and I didn’t try their drinks so I can’t comment on the bar. There are some customer service kinks that need to be worked out from our experience. We walked up to put our name on the list to be seated. There were two people taking names and one seemed like she may have been a manager. The other person was helping another customer and the manager lady was helping the person in front of me. She finished up helping the person in front of me, and just turned and walked away after helping them while the other guy was still wrapping up helping the person she was with. It was no big deal but it did come off as rude. I would have ignored that except that when my table was ready she was the person who I was going to check in with and she ignored me again. Another greeter had to chase her down to get her hand held computer from her. I’m 6’2”. I’m kind of hard to miss. So I don’t know what was going on there. Once seated, the waitress was really nice. However once she took our order, we were largely ignored until I flagged her down for help. One of our entrees came out wrong and we didn’t receive our appetizer until we got our meal. We informed the runner that she brought us the wrong entree. She apologized, and said she would bring us the correct order. It was a shrimp basket which theoretically shouldn’t take long to make. The runner never came back and when we finally were able to get the waitresses attention, I was almost done with my meal while my mother was still waiting. It was about a 20 minute wait for them. The waitress said that they were going to cook that right away. About 2 or 3 minutes later, we finally received the last part of our meal and our waitress apologized profusely. Overall, I feel like this place has a lot of potential and I REALLY want them to succeed. Having a successful restaurant in that location is very important for the community. I only write this review because I want them to do well. That being said, it will probably be a while before I return because I think they need some time to work out their processes.

This is the best gem of Clermont!! Newly opened and unlike other new places, there were very few disappointment. I've been there 3 times since they opened and each time is great. Service is friendly and efficient! They are clearly going out of their way to make sure customers are happy. Multiple people stopped at our table to ask how were and if we needed anything. The food came out fast especially knowing how busy they are and brand new. The ahi tuna tartare is my new favorite appetizer in town. The pan-seared fish with coconut rum sauce is delicious. The alligator bites while not my first choice were shockingly really good. The fish dip is good but nothing fantastic, the conch fritter were yummy! The lobster bisque and conch chowder is delicious. The peel and eat shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The grouper tacos are wonderful and come in two or three tacos. The chicken tacos are really good. The rum cake was solid good but bland for me, I was expecting more flavor maybe coconut or chocolate or a guava sauce but that's just me. I'm so happy this place is finally here! A real coastal restaurant. I'll a Chicago girl that lives here now and the majority food in Florida is average but these gems do exist! You just have to find them. The lake side view is beautiful and outdoor area is great for the Florida weather. You'll see boats and seaplanes come in for a meal. So good, enjoy!

We arrived about 4:30 on Valentine's Day. We has to wait for about 10 minutes for a table. It was a little confusing where we were to check in since the side facing the path around the lake seemed so inviting an entrance. Check in was actually on the parking lot side of the building. Our server was very nice and tried to check in quite a bit, almost too much. We started with drinks, the margarita was well made. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and found it ok, nothing special. We wouldn't order it again. For an entree we had Island Grilled Chicken and Coastal Crab Cake. We both enjoyed our entrees, the broccolini was cooked perfectly. We left room for dessert and shared the key lime pie which had just the right flavors. We knew they recently opened so we kept that in mind. We hope they can get a better rhythm down in the kitchen. Our entrées arrived within 5 minutes of our appetizer. We barely had time to sit with our calamari and drinks and relax before the entrée arrived. Our table was in an awkward spot outside on the deck. It is at the corner of the bar and for 2 people it was ok but more than that would have been an issue. The bar was busy and between patrons and wait staff trying to get through, especially as people were ordering drinks from the bar, it was very hectic feeling. The management should reconsider this table placement. Given the newness of the place and that it was Valentine's Day, we would certainly give it another chance as the location overlooking the lake is nice.
