Salt Kitchen Bar

Went with a work party a few weeks ago and the food was so good we came back to try more of the menu!! Surf and Turf was excellent! Tiger prawn skewers for starters were superb! Will be back!

Food was excellent service was friendly, but felt ignored as we were looking forward to a dessert. Never got asked or even if we wanted more drinks. So we just payed and left.

We went for the sirloin steak with all of the trimming It was excellent we full enjoy it and would happily come again There is some parking for disability person on the front other parking is local Has WiFi on site My wife ordered a cocktail which was a bit watery but the staff replace it without a problem Nice clean toilets

Excellent menu, fantastic food, and relaxing atmosphere. Kids and adults loved it equally. Highly recommend

We went to salt this afternoon for a meal.You could not fault it,food and service were both excellent.It is so great to have a gluten free restaurant in Hayle.Nearly every option on the menu was which I was impressed with including the fish and chips .For starters I had the prawn and monkfish skewer,they were so delicious and really nice fish I suppose it is an advantage that it is located so close to the seafront.The bread I ordered to the side which actually also came with the starter was really delicious.Especially in the olive oil sauce.The olives were delicious.For mains I had the Salt Cheesteak cibbata.That was very tasty,the steak was so tender,tasty and cooked to absolute perfection.All the other things in it were nice too,it comes with rump steak,rocket,sliced gherkin,fried onions,melted cheddar and American mustard.I also ordered the buttermilk chicken loaded fries as I love loaded fries so much.The chips were really tasty you got a very generous portion of them,also the chicken was tasty too.So was everything else on the chips.The staff were friendly and service was quick.Lemonade was fresh and the summer breeze was delicious as well,had loads of flavour.Nice atmosphere and decor,If you are going here it is quite a small restaurant so I would recommend booking up in advance.Toilets and the restaurant was clean too. Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free,almost every option including the fish and chips were gluten free.The staff were extremely accommodating to my allergy and the food was delicious Parking: A car park with charging nearby Kid-friendliness: Seems that it is a kid friendly restaurant

Been coming to Salt Bar for years and it’s the best pub and restaurant in Cornwall. Food and service is always consistently excellent. A great place to also chill outside and watch Hayle go by!
