Every time I pass through this mall I thought about trying Sakina’s and finally caved and got their chicken biryani and a chai. First of all the employees are super friendly and welcoming, and we came when it wasn’t busy so we didn’t have to wait in line. The chicken biryani was really good and genuinely tasted homemade. It wasn’t super oily or filled with food dye. The chicken pieces were soft and flavorful, and it came with a really good raita. The chai was delicious as well and also tasted fresh. Prices are reasonable and two of us were able to easily split the entree. I would definitely come back! Their kabobs and butter chicken will probably be my next options to try.

In town from Mpls and was looking for a quick bite at pentagon city. This place was fire!!! Super automatic flavors. Great non fast food option in the food court and good size portions.

Sakina’s at the food court in Pentagon City has definitely got my taste buds in a happy place right now. I ordered the #1 (Chicken Tikka Boti) and am so loving it. First off, for $13.99 I got 6 chunks of delicious chicken, served over fluffy rice, chickpeas, salad and a pita. EVERYTHING was very well seasoned! I love fresh herbs so having it topped with chopped cilantro just made it even more of a treat. Also, the lemonade is really good, tastes like they used real lemons! I have to DD that my Husband’s only comment was that he wished they served a larger pita (or gave you two of the mini ones)…Overall: friendly, fast service, delicious food (especially for a mall food court) with no hiccups whatsoever. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m shopping and get hungry. Parking: Park in the heneral parking garage for Pentagon City Mall. Kid-friendliness: Whole mall is kid friendly and it’s in the food court. Wheelchair accessibility: Whole mall is accessible by wheelchair and it’s in the food court.

This was SO GOOD! I have been exploring all over the city today and this hit the spot. I have to make a return trip next time I am in DC. Service was fast and the service was very friendly. If you are a local or just passing through I cannot find a single thing to complain about this one. Best saag paneer I have had in a long time. Vegetarian options: I had the Saag Paneer, which was delicious. I did not see anything vegan, though, if that is a concern.
