Saia's Super Meat Market

Long wait but they were short staffed and no chairs or benches to sit on. Food was super though so it was worth the wait.

There is no process for ordering & waiting. Everbody is just milling about by the register. Very unorganized. Asian guy cashier was borderline rude.

The older guy in the meat department was inconsiderate and racist. Made awful remarks about my country will never go back

We've been shopping at Saia's for many years. Their ground beef, steaks, sausage, pork chops, every meat item we've tried has always been the best of anywhere around and prices are good. Their fried chicken and fried shrimp poboys are great also.

The best selection of meat on the Northshore!

Today after 3pm the fried chicken was just made. It was the freshest, crispiest, tastiest chicken we've ever bought there. I think they had just changed the oil. My my! So good. The PoBoys were also good but much less shrimp than they used to have. Sias used to be known for overstuffed PoBoys extra shrimp all in the paper wrapping but now the shrimp don't fill the sandwich and they're smaller but still taste good. Prices also went up a bit but still be the cheapest around.
