A phenomenal experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff and well attended to throughout our meal. Our server Laura was absolutely wonderful. The flavors were off the charts!! Just a great vibe going on here
As a Bay View resident I am so happy that Sage opened! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the menu is simple but on point. As a pregnant lady I was super excited that there is a Mocktail section on their drink menu and the two I tried - Paloma and Thyme- were delicious. I had the mushroom risotto for a main and it was amazing - sooo much flavored packed into a simple dish. My husband had the burger and we shared the deviled eggs and the soup. We both thought all the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and service was efficient without feeling rushed. The ambiance is very cool, music was good, just a great experience overall!
I went in Valentine’s Day so please keep that in mind. We had a reservation at 7pm and didn’t get seated until around 7:40pm - the staff was perfectly pleasant about all of it though. We did get a seat at the bar to wait it out but it took quite awhile to get a drink. However, the drinks were good albeit a little inconsistent on flavor. The Tyme mocktail was particularly delicious though. Our appetizer came out quite burnt but they rectified the situation quickly. Our steaks cut like butter but lacked general flavor. The food was so/so and a little pricey for its quality. The menu did have some intriguing meal options though. They also did have options that were celiac friendly, which I was thankful for. The venue itself is cute but the seating arrangement is so tight that my purse was knocked to the floor on several occasions even when being tight up to the table. Parking lot was very small and completely filled but nearby parking was easy to find around the block. The best part of this whole experience was the truly love service staff that is employed here. Lovely people. Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly options - just make sure to tell the lovely employees of your needs. Parking: Small lot but close street parking around the building. Kid-friendliness: I can’t see this really being an atmosphere for children. The place is quite small and seems more geared for intimate adult meals. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant does not have an easy accessible front entrance because of the small amount of stairs leading in.
From start to finish the meal was AMAZING! The design aesthetic is so cute, love the live plant feature and the design elements inside the restaurant. The meal was flawless each course was better than the last culminating with a beautiful dessert that was a beet red velvet cake. The cocktails were thoughtful and well balanced, and the wine list while short had excellent options both bottle and glass.
