The groceries are decent, same as most places. The prices are a little high. The staff is hit and miss, it depends who you get. most of the staff are friendly. the ones that aren't make it not worth my time to go there anymore. Self checkout is a nightmare.

I work at near by store, after my shift, I went to get a box of cereal from this Safeway store. I used the self checkout after I was done, I was leaving and the lady at the self checkout called me saying:” you didn’t pay for it.” I told her that I did pay for it. And I have my receipt here with me. Asked her if she would like to see it. She said: “No” and turned around to another person. No apology or no nothing. Perplexed but went to service desk and returned the item and left. She was Not asking but decided that I did not pay for it and she did not want to see my receipt. Not impressed.
