The food truck is located in the N. Charlotte Lowe's parking lot. 1100 Chancellor Park Dr 28213. The food is authentic and off the charts with a subtle intertwining of awesome deliciousness. You can not go wrong with anything that you order. Every single order is prepared fresh, right in front of you. The house sauces are all scratchmade, and Chef Rey is phenomenal behind that grill and a fantastic person as well. Both outgoing and gregarious. My personal favorite is the Cubano tortas. And it's served with some very nicely done French fries. So, if you're in the area, or even if you're not, take a drive, and give your taste buds a treat. Stopped at the food truck in the University City Lowe's parking lot. Food was delicious! The Cuban sandwich was not what I was expecting, but I chose it with chicken and it was beyond delicious. Came with fries. The guava and cheese empanadas were the best! I highly recommend!

I ordered the cuban sandwich w/ fries, the sandwich was amazing to say the least. Very flavorful ingredients, and you can tell that the wonderful lady who prepared it put alot of love into it. Pedí un sándwich cubano con papas fritas y me gustó mucho. Todo era bien caliente y fresco, y también muy delicioso. Hubiera pedido dos sándwiches mas, sin duda volveré a probar mas de sus platos y comidas

You ever put a pair of pants on and found money you didn't expect. Thats how it feels when you drive by this half opened Citgo and see this beacon of light that is Sabor al Paladar. If you see it opened it's your lucky day and you must stop and get one of the greatest sandwiches ever made in Charlotte history along with some empanadas.
