My recent dining experience at Saboo Persian Restaurant in North Vancouver left me utterly delighted and eager to sing its praises. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and hospitality that set the stage for an exceptional meal. The culinary journey began with an array of tantalizing appetizers that offered a delightful introduction to the flavors of Persian cuisine. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the perfect balance of spices and textures that are the hallmark of Persian cooking. I don't care that they were so nice. the food is out of this world.
came here after all hussiens review , the kebab is amazing its definitely worth a try. best persian food in north van .
I got Soltani. The rice was overcooked (shefteh), and koobideh was good, but barg was a bit smelly and low-quality meat. The host was polite, attentive and fast. The washroom could be cleaner.
Parking is a challenge in this location. Even movement in the area can be difficult during heavy traffic times. Expect to use Barrow Street, one block south of Main, between Harbour Ave. and the Petro Canada station. Ours was a first visit to pick up food for home consumption. The dining room is pleasantly decorated and the service was fine. A Friday evening traffic snarl meant the trip taking home chicken pesto and pulled pork sandwiches took too long. That meant the large servings of fries were limp and barely warm, and the sandwich breads a little soggy. However, the baklava was fine and quite delicious. This part of North Vancouver could use another dining spot so I hope Saboo succeeds. I'd suggest dining in the restaurant if you aim to give it a try. Fresh from the kitchen is always best. Parking: Street parking and a short walk to the restaurant.
For $25 the size of this lasagna literally fills 1/4 of the container it came in. It's pathetic.. no bechamel either.. noodles, cheese and meat sauce
I recently visited Saboo Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, with a commendable focus on quality. The JojeKebab with bone was particularly delightful. Moreover, the staff exhibited remarkable friendliness and politeness, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend [Restaurant Name] for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service!
