I haven't been there in a long time but it was still just as good as then.
I miss old Ruggeros. It’s not as good as it use to be. We went there for lunch and there was only one other couple there. The man that set us at our table wasn’t welcoming at all. This place is so outdated. The carpet looks really dirty. No more items for lunch so very pricey. Our salads arrived and the lettuce had many brown areas. Just gross. Received the bread and it was ok. My main meal was pretty good. My aunt’s lasagna wasn’t very good. I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back. For the high price it wasn’t worth it.
my boyfriend wanted to take me on a date here, as we've been here before and loved it. we ordered at 6:50pm, and at 7:43pm after seeing the server twice and no explaination they told me they were just getting our food done. they had too many takeout orders and got backed up. I'm sorry, but we were dining it. I thought that took importance. after getting our food, which mine was barely warm, we were offered no other explanation, no apology, and still charged 60$ for our food that we did not get to eat inside. they closed at 8 and we got our food at 7:50pm. we absolutely will not be coming back and I am extremely disappointed in the service we received.
Greatest Italian dressing ever. Pizza is awesome.
I have not had Ruggero’s in a long time and but some things have not changed. This pizza is amazing and the sauce is so delicious, I will order again. I had build your own pizza and I remember always getting the classic pepperoni. One of my favorite pizza places to this day, if you had you know what I mean.
Sad to say this place is going downhill. I've been coming here for years and the last few times it just hasn't been the same but the last time I went will be the last time I ever go. My boyfriend and I both ordered lasagnas (I wanted eggplant parm but they were out no big deal). His food came out cold, not like it was sitting out a while cold, but like it came from the fridge cold. I asked if they could heat it up and she took the plate back. The food came back and was room temp at best. The food on the very top wasn't even a little hot. So we said alright we will just go home, packed the food up and planned on warming it up when we got home. We'll it gave him food poisoning and I honestly wished I would've sent it back and had them keep it. My lasagna had no cheese in the middle (like the ricotta blend) it was just mozzarella, toppings and noodles. It was more like a pizza bake than lasagna. Mind you we were one of maybe 5 other tables there, it was not busy at all. And yes we paid for the meal in full, we did not receive a discount nor did we want one we just wanted to go home at that point.
This poor waittress,, the only one working! She had all the tables and was RUNNING her butt off! Food was good but because of her working alone, was taking longer to get to the table! NOT HER FAULT!!! WHERE are the business owners? Why are they not working? And...thus was during the week before Christmas!!!
