I had an excellent customer service experience at this place. Waiter made great recommendations and food was very delicious - highly recommend if you are craving a traditional Italian meal.
Food was great. We tried the tuscany soup, cheesy garlic bread, spaghetti, and vodka sauce. I would definitley come back again to try more. We almost didn't get the bread because of the bad reviews, but good thing we did. It was buttery, crispy and cheesy...as it should be. The vodka sauce was flavorful! I agree it could have been creamier but flavor wise it was on point. Every thing else was spot on and I would order again. Parking: Entrance in parking lot.
Great food for a great price!
I’ve been going to Ruffinos since I was a kid (I’m 25). When they changed owners a couple years ago, we were a bit skeptical. And to be honest, we weren’t wowed the first few times we dined there after the ownership changed. But we went back tonight and I’m happy to say I think the new owners have found their stride! My parents and I all enjoyed our entrees. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was creamy, seasoned and I appreciated that they had cut up the chicken which was well cooked. Dad enjoyed his seafood pasta and mom’s meatballs were very large. Prices have gone up with the new owners, but prices have up gone up everywhere. This has never been a fancy place — it’s a casual family Place to enjoy a no fuss meal. And I’m happy I can keep coming to my favorite childhood spot.
Ordered (3) dishes. All had different tastes... like they're supposed to! Definitely come again when in VA.
I had angel hair pasta/spaghetti and it turned out to be the best Italian food I have had in the US, let alone Arlington. The atmosphere was soothing and it also had a decent bar area but smaller compared to most places. The menu was also the most simple and easy to understand. Must try for some authentic Italian dishes.
