Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

UPDATE: Still Great Food! It's ironic how one of the absolute best places for authentic barbecue in Texas belongs to a chain restaurant. I absolutely, unequivocally, recommend Rudy's barbecue!

Everything is usually great, but sometimes, when I get home & open my peach cobbler, it is nothing but a dried out crust with very little peaches or filling. One time, it was actually burnt crust. The person who waited on me this last time let me taste it first before I bought it. The banana pudding was not tasty at all. The one & only baked potato I got was so hard to the point that I couldn't even mix it.

Rudy's is just flat out good !! They serve a mean breakfast taco and a mean jalapeno and cheese sausage as well

Excellent BBQ. It’s pretty hard to differentiate yourself in the BBQ game, but the smoke flavor of the brisket was extremely unique. If you like a great smoke flavor they may be the best. I’d highly suggest the pork ribs and moist, worst word of all time, brisket. Skip the coleslaw and beans, but the potato salad is excellent. I’m actually shocked that I’m giving a good review with how bad the coleslaw was. I believe good BBQ needs good coleslaw, but the meat was enough to convince me. If you’re looking for a solid meal, you will not be disappointed!
