After starting as a barista in 1993 at one of Raleigh's pioneer coffee shops, he turned his talents to roasting in 2003. In 2018, he started Rube's. Every bag of Rube's is roasted-to-order personally by Dutch on his energy-efficient Aillio Bullet R1 coffee roaster, located in Kittrell, N.C. We offer both pick-up and delivery locally.
