Well, ive been using this Balti since it opened in the early 90s. From then ive been every year with family and partners. Recently i have been having more takeaways. Ive never had a bad meal or experience probably with 100 meals. They good value and tasty and are known for large nann breads. This is why its so popular and stayed in business id say. But recently things have gone down hill and its a shame. Last 3 meals over a 6 week period have been hit and miss. Chicken spinach was always, irony, the right temperature and dark. I was told the old chef was ill so they had a different one on but wasn't their long. But they still not right. Surely the staff who work there could tell the chef how they should be to keep up the quality. The meal has gone too spicy, or not spicy and for some reason has got a sicky sweet taste to it now. Its gone very light and orange and not the dark spinach color it was for the good years. But one big difference is the nann breads. They have gone ALOT Smaller. Why change things when they have worked So well for over 30 years ♂️??. Also the poppadoms and little bag if salad which finished the meal has gone aswell. Iknow they might want to kee price down but id prefer pay the extra and keep the Great taste and quality its always been. To all who work there, Please get it back up to standard. If quality drops the customers and regulars will aswell. Hope it gets back to proper flavors and large renowned nann breads. John.
nicest curry and naan bread I've ever had.
As usual everyone welcoming & attentive, not too busy for a Friday night, food excellent as always. Give it a try you won't be disappointed
Had meat and mushroom balti which was absolutely delicious
Truly brilliant food, top notch.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is upstairs, no wheelchair access. Which is regretful as food & service is impeccable.
Cannot believe how good the Achari is, just moved to the area and was worried I wouldn't find somewhere as good as my old Indian. This meal blew my socks off with flavour.
