Royal Piri Piri

Cheap as chips and okay food definitely not comparable to nandos. It's a lot cheaper than other places though. The chicken is a bit drier as it is skinless. I wouldn't mind having it again but I wouldn't choose it over other options in the area.

The food is nice spicy and juice

Food at Royal Piri has always been the standard for Piri in Oldham The lamb chops and chicken are excellent when you get them fresh. The place has had some really good refurbishment, especially from how the old venue looked like an old tired pub. However the service is shocking, no communication from the back to staff. We had iftar here took 25mins after iftar for the food to come, even though we pre ordered. The waiter came with no care or bother and just gave some mumbled responses... Not sure how I would describe it, the food was good but service is everything.

The lamb chops in sauce was shockingly bad. They tasted as though they had been boiled and then doused in tomato ketchup. The texture was extremely tough and chewey. Without a doubt, the worst lamb chops I've ever had in my life.
