On Sunday, May 26th, Rosebar hosted an Afro-Caribbean event starting at 4pm. There was a long line waiting to get in, we were in there at 4:45pm. The security and hostesses were absolutely rude and weren't allowing us in the time that was posted on the flyer. It was scorching outside, why would you have people waiting outside past the time of entry? One of hostess were so rude saying, "what do you all expect is summer, yall can stand there! " Unprofessional staff and security does not make me feel welcomed or safe. I would not recommend this place to anyone. NEVER AGAIN! When we finally got inside there was no Afro-Caribbean music....my friends left immediately.
I went to Rosebar Sunday with my friends and it was a complete disappointment. Before we could even make it through the entrance, security staff at the front were downright hostile, smart mouth, and aggressive for no reason at all. Is this the kind of treatment patrons can expect at your establishment? My advice: reevaluate your 'security' team. We were prepared to spend money on a section, but after our experience, we won't be returning. If you'd rather let your incompetent security cost you business, be my guest.
I have a great time every time I come to Rosebar! The bartenders are all very friendly. I do not agree with the bad reviews at all. Rosebar service is always 10/10 , bottle service is unmatched. Ask for AB at the bar she’s great
Went to Rosebar day party, for the first time had an amazing time. Great music, great crowd, and great customer service. I will definitely come back to their day party.
I went to the nightlife on Thursday. They promote a deal on Eventbrite where you can get in for free before 11pm and from 11pm to 12am there is an open bar.
I got there at 10:30pm and that was a scam. I had to pay $25 to get in (cash $20) and no open bar.
Additionally, their drink prices were weekend prices with the prices going up every 30 mins. I bought my first drink for $14 and at the end of the night it $20 plus the automatic service charge they have.
Another aspect that I didn’t like was that they refused to serve water cups. I have never been to a club or bar that did that. Not only are they charging a cover but they are too cheap to offer water.
I had a very strange experience coming here for a Friday evening out. I put my name on the list for free entry with a group of friends, and upon arrival the bouncer attempted to charge us $20 cover each. When I showed him that we were in fact on the list, he admitted we were the very first people there for the night. Who charges cover for an empty club? We stuck around for a while but no-one else showed up, and we went to a different club across the street.
This was my first thirsty Thursday and first time in Rosebar and I have to say if y’all bring DJ CAMO back regularly I’ll walk right back out. He played about 5 songs 3 times throughout the night, my friends and I were bored and the crowd was dry. I politely went up to ask if he could play some Nicki, he told me no and was extremely arrogant. I’ve NEVER had that experience with a DJ like I’m actually appalled.
