Great food, great service

Yesterday, sunday, i ordered a carryout ; angus burger w/fries, i got home and discovered wrong item , instead i was given a double burger with sauce. So i didn't get what i ordered. I didn't want to drive all way back to roost rest and go through hassle

Everytime I've eaten at this restaurant, I was impressed by the food and that's a lot coming from a retired chef. A western hills famous spot. Oddly not a German restaurant, but spot on my dad's Sauer bratin recipe, but ask for an extra cup of the gravy. Real nice buffet options and they'll say the best fried chicken in western hills what they're famous for. Me being chef it's up to debate.

Finally had my first meal at Ron's Roost and it did not disappoint. Chicken was juicy and great flavor. Don't miss the Sunday buffet.
