I lost my brother who used to fight his cancer , he loves this restaurant
If you are looking for Italian food, Roman Nose is a good option. The menu offers a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, from pasta to pizza. The pasta dishes are particularly noteworthy, pasta is made in-house and serve al dente. We try the Tagliatelle ai funghi and the spaghetti a la carbonara and both were good. I got high expectations for the tiramisu (there is so many reviews about it) and was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The service at was good, about 20 minutes to serve the food. Credit cards accepted.
Update post-pandemic. Things seem to really have gone downhill for this neighborhood spot. The caprese salad was cold and the mozzarella was hard. It's supposed to be room temp. The ragu Tagliatelle was a bit TOO al dente.. and the sauce was so bland I had to almost dump an entire salt shaker in the sauce. Overpriced and skimping on the ingredients. But at least the staff is friendly... Pre-pandemic Good food but terrible service. Long waits to get seated (even at the bar), and the bartender kept pouring free wine to a woman next to me who would clearly not leave, just to keep twirling her pasta forever just so she could socialize.
We have been going to Roman Nose for the last 5-6 years and Pesto Pizza has been our favourite since then. .... We tried their Tiramisu and Ricotta Cheesecake which were !
The food was decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the place being less than half full, our food took over an hour to arrive, while tables seated after us were served promptly. The service, particularly from the host, was rude, leaving us feeling disrespected and upset.
Love this cozy and amazing place. The manager and staff are simply wonderful, and the food is exceptional. We typically eat at the bar and always have fun and seem to make interesting new JC friends each time. If you want a real place, good vibes, no drama, great food …go here.
I’ve been to this place multiple times before, love their pizza and pasta. This time however, had a slightly disappointing experience. I went there with two friends, so we were like 3 people. We were not hungry so we decided to have drinks and 2 dishes. After we finished our meal and headed out, this one lady who works there pointed out that our tip was very less even though we paid 10% of our total bill as tip. Never been told before how much to tip when we are less than 5 people. Is that normal? It’s not like we paid very less additionally we didn’t order much to begin with. She went on to say they get paid only $5/hr and that they make enough. Either pay them more or ask our employers to pay us more so that we can afford to pay 20% tip that you were demanding us to pay additionally. It’s not like food here is extremely cheap. Her comment really ruined our wonderful Friday night.
