Please don't put gum into bubblegum flavor. That's hard to eat... And doesn't make sense. Just add flavor.
Called at 7pm to ask what time they were open and told 10pm. Packed up the family to have a late night treat. When we arrived we were greates by metal shutters in the windows. No staff on site. We drove from Maple Ridge......
I'm a fan of their ice cream, doesn't matter the location. But I'm happy I got one closed to my place now
Me gusto mucho Rocky Point
They do like coffee n stuff too, pretty nice
I'll start by saying the ice cream flavor itself is great, mango sorbet not so much. The location at Lafage lake is quite disappointing. During the Christmas lights display the lines were very big, fair enough that's expected. However the giant sign above the order counter just says "Hot Chocolate" so we were not even sure if ice cream was being served? The reason I say this, is from a distance there was no menu board to be seen listing ice cream flavors which made us assume ice cream was not being served in the winter. I got to the counter trying to keep 4 kids under 10 together, and asking staff what ice cream they have. The young girl pointed to a ground level sandwich board 3 rows of people over and about 10ft back, as soon as you move from the counter the waiting customers fill the space. That night our order was messed up but I just paid extra for an empty waffle cone and swapped the ice cream over myself. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and I wasn't about to hold the line. You would think with expecting large lines for this location that as a business you would have a clear visible menu board so while you wait in line you can proceed to order knowing what to get. Fast forward we visited again tonight and despite no lines there was still a ground level sandwich board with small labels listing flavors. Along with other reviews, I do agree the child's scoop is inconsistent, tonight it was ridiculous small, not to mention they gave us zero napkins aside from what is wrapped on an adult cone. $16 for 1 adult cone and 2 children's scoops which wouldn't have amounted to one adult scoop. We won't be back to get ice cream at Lafarge.
Very good place overall but very expensive, the ice cream is the best in Tri-Cities. Would recommend Salted Caramel.
