Food was a bit plsin

Called in for lunch today as we were passing my wife and grandson we both had the scampi and chips , not good … scampi was small and chips full of crispy end bits not chips. We have been here a few times together and as a family never cheap but the food was good …… not this lunch time not sure why it was so poor but didn’t stay for desert . I think will try somewhere else for a while.

Had Sunday lunch in April 24. Food was very tasty and hot, large portions. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. The bar is warm with nice music and great atmosphere.

This is the second time I've gone with my family to have dinner at this pub, great place, great staff and the food is really delicious, but there aren't many vegan options and the second time we went, the only vegan option was very spicy, unfortunately I couldn't eat it .

We had an absolutely delicious lunch for two. The ervice was very friendly and the restaurant was cosy with lots of character.
