Sketchy motel, zero ambiance, mediocre service, good file mignon

We loved everything about this little gem. The intimate atmosphere. The warm, personal service, and the food that seemed like it was prepared by a very talented friend for guests at his/her home. Everything. And the value was excellent. I had a two for one Old Fashioned ($6 each!), and it was the best I've ever had! The char grilled parmesan fresh oysters were out of this world, at $12 for 1/2 dozen. The Julias salad was perfect. Perfect. We shared the black and blue New York strip, medium rare. It was grilled perfectly, with a delicious gorganzola fondue. We had the parmesan risotto on the side, and it was so savory and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we got the salted caramel banana bread pudding. It was homemade, hot and fresh, and even though I'm not a dessert eater, I couldn't stop eating it. It was crazy-good! Run by brothers, Christian and chef Joshua, the service is personal and the atmosphere chill. I'm totally a fan.

Their place is a hidden gem! All I can say there is no drink or taste of food that can even compare! Absolutely phenomenal!

We decided on this restaurant based on the reviews we saw on Google and some feedback from one of the parties from the area that they had great food before having a brick and mortar location. We went on a Saturday night and they were not that busy. It started to get busy and after we were seated it took a while to by acknowledged and take our order. Service is lacking because 1 person is the one taking care of all tables. It seemed rhat he was overwhelmed and was not as friendly. He changed a bit as we got our meal. We got checked on twice but almost until the end of our meal. To add, we waited about 1 hr to get our meal. The ambiance is not what you would expect for a steakhouse, so be warned that if you want a fancy comfortable restaurant feel, you will not get that sort of ambiance. Now on to the food, it was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was made with quality ingredients, good flavor, well made and good presentation. If you want to have a good meal and do not mind the wait or the different ambiance, you will sure enjoy your food.

Definitely want to shout out this restaurant. It was unsuspectingly good. Small and cozy interior, friendly service (albeit a bit slow when they got busy), and the food hit the spot. Also, the chef was our server, so you can imagine the food came out fresh and steaming! Will absolutely be returning!

Great specials, good prices, amazing staff, but most importantly phenomenal food!!!!!

Let's start with the food, it was very good and the chef definitely has potential and I can see him grow a lot very soon so congrats! The down side though... it seemed like he is the only one cooking so for a party of 6 we waited about an hr for our food. Also, the establishment feels more like a bar/club than a restaurant so when you walk in you may be like "ummm... should I stay" lol but definitely give them a shot !

2 brothers from Buffalo who opened just before the pandemic. Give them a visit!!! Great food!!!

I visited Roam last week with a group of friends. Chris, the owner, and his team create a quaint, delicious, and engaging vibe. I had the Julius and burger - both delicious! Others had the steak, pork chops, and oysters and enjoyed it all. You can't go wrong trying Roam. Please come with patience as service may be a bit slow, but it's worth the wait. I'll be returning.
