Went for a birthday steak. Everything was fabulous, the place itself, the location by the river, the food was wonderful and Andre and Nico were warm, friendly and helpful. I was tempted to give a really bad review to put others off so we would always be able to get in! We WILL be back.

Really excellent Sunday roast, kids menu, and wonderful setting by the river with large outdoor seating area that gets afternoon sun and cosy indoors. Friendly service, reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

This place has improved an awful lot. The Pork belly was the best pork belly dish I’ve ever had (and that’s against some stiff competition) and the atmosphere was pleasant even though we went on a Monday. We will return in the summer months for sure. Service was very good, super polite and friendly. Keep at it!!

Lovely dining room, really boldly decorated, classy furniture, overlooking a lovely garden and riverbank. We all had a roast which was disappointing compared to how the reviews I've read rated it. The portion sizes were odd, some people had 3 big potatoes, some had 3 small. The beef was overcooked and the potatoes weren't very crispy and roasted. Worst was the yorkies, they were terribly hard and had a really dense foam like texture. Overall, at £19.50 a meal it did not meet our expectations.

We had an excellent evening, delicious food and great service from George. Highly recommended.
