Ristorante Sapori di mare

When you are in Venice you are more sensitive for restaurants. You always feel you are in a tourist trap. Surely they want to rip you off and they give you not too much for it. Many restaurants including this are a money machine here. Always full and they do not have to fight for customers. It has not much to do with real Italian gastronomy. The food is quite low quality, especially the ham. I think there was not a single Italian working in the restaurant but the service was fast and kind. Of course they want you to leave as soon as possible. Anyway we had a good time despite this feeling.

Best pizza ever, carbonara was the perfect size, and the cheese platter as an appetizer was delicious with the honey. Aperol spritz was sweet and scrumptious, and perfect view across the grand canal. Would come again with more people.
