RIGATONI'S Altrincham

Not as enjoyable an experience as previous visits ( when Sugo )in any respect. Stream of delivery riders pushing past me to collect takeaways a complete no no for me and I won’t revisit for that reason. Is it a restaurant or a takeaway ? Food ok, service ok but nothing special to note. Shame.

Charging £15 for a tiny portion of pasta is what I paid last week in a nice restaurant in Singapore, the world’s most expensive city. I wasn’t expecting to pay the same in Altrincham sadly.

Despite their multiple rebrands the food was on point. Delicious pasta. Portion sizes were a little on the small side but I will go back again for sure.

This is a gem in south Manchester - dishes absolutely packed with flavour and pasta like you only get in Italy. The menu is small but the dishes are properly thought out and really well prepared. Always great music too... this is one of our favourite places!

Staff very rude with delivery riders. I was there for dinner with family to witness the manager giving attitude to the rider who was waiting to collect the food for over 15 minutes, when the manager was keeping telling him that the food would be ready in 2 minutes. After 20 minutes the poor rider asked if the food was ready but all he received was an aggressive answer from the manager who was telling the rider to cancel the order. You must understand that the riders represent the costumer who orders online you can’t be that rude. If takes time just tell him from the beginning and don’t waste his time he is also working. I definitely prefer the old sugo pasta management. Not coming back here again.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years, and it has always been an absolute favourite. The atmosphere and service were amazing as always. The taste of the food is just the same but the portion sizes much smaller than previous. It just feels like the new business model is to charge the same for smaller portions. So having been a loyal customer for years we are not sure we will be back.
