Revolutionary Hot Sauce Eatery

Hot sauce? Food? Craft beer? I was so excited to try this place that I guess my expectations were too high. As a spicy food lover, I went out of my way to patronize this restaurant. In my mind, I had expected an experience; I guess that's part of what went wrong. I sat at the counter, and when I was handed the menu, I said, "I'm in a hot sauce place, so I should get something hot." Instead of getting recommendations, I was informed I could get something without heat. I stated that I had a pretty high tolerance... still no reaction. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken with Revolutionary sauce. While I waited, I drank my Beerded Goat Maple Lager. It was excellent. I perused the selection of hot nuts, popcorn, pretzels, and sauces and placed a couple of items on the counter. I got my meal. It was a nice-sized portion. The server asked me how everything was, and I didn't want to complain, so I said it was fine. The reality was that it was really salty. Although I was the only person eating, it took a while for anyone to acknowledge that I was finished. Again, admittedly, I was asked "anything else?" to which I responded, "just the check." I was told it was $43. I asked how. Beer, sandwich, $1.00 upcharge for sauce, nuts, and pretzels. I had put the pretzels back while I was waiting for my check. I had actually hoped to sample these items and others, but that was never offered. I had not committed to purchasing them. The check was corrected. I was asked if I was upset about the upcharge for the sauce. (I remember seeing an upcharge for fries; maybe I missed the sandwich.) But, really, you're charging a dollar for a tablespoon of YOUR SAUCE on a sandwich? It was then that I stated that the food was really salty, and there was no enthusiasm about their product - to which I was told I could've sampled anything I wanted. The beer was excellent. The portion size and quality of the meal were good, aside from the excessive salt on both the fries and sandwich. For $26.50 before tax and tip, I was disappointed. (The nuts I purchased were delicious. I would've certainly purchased more items if anyone had engaged with me.) I love the concept of your establishment.

Love this place! The food and beer are delicious here. High quality ingredients. The staff and owner are friendly. Highly recommend!

We were followers of the Revolutionary hot sauces after seeing them on Hot Ones. When we found out they opened an eatery and as fans of spicy food it was a MUST go, and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious burgers, beers and sauces! I’d recommend to try the Smash Burger with the hot chocolate sauce, the Nashville Hot Chicken or if you’re not into spicy food the butter burger is also delicious. And for drinks, you should definitely try the Sweet Wave Margarita and Hazeanero IPA. Don’t forget to grab a bottle or two for home!

If you like to experiment with different flavors, great food and great beer...this is a place to try!

If quality and flavor are what you value when you spend your money and go out to eat, this is the place for you. The flavors of the dishes we got we cannot find anywhere else, and the quality of the ingredients made us very happy. I understand it’s a brewpub, and the environment and service were certainly adequate but the food was our biggest best surprise. If you understand the value of things, I highly recommend making a trip there but if you’re looking to eat as much food for as little as you can spend, who knows maybe the flavors enough to convince you too. As Arnold said, I’ll be back

Had a very good burger and fries here. Not really a craft beer person, but they have a nice selection for those who are. Prices comparable to others. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Beer and wings kind of night! I got Troeg’s Naked Elf beer and Hot Java wings. My dad got Troeg’s Troegenator and Cat’s got your tongue wings. We really enjoyed it and will be back!

Nice local option with good food (had their hot chicken sandwich and fries) and their own beer (hazy IPA). Nice casual atmosphere and very friendly owner. Will definitely be back!
