A York must-visit! Prompt, friendly service! Stellar, tasty food! Be sure to save room for dessert! This is one of those places that is so good you plan a trip around when they're open just to visit again. I feel so revived!

We're on a walking bar tour of downtown York, which led us to Revival Social Club. Small place with a comfortable, speakeasy vibe. My Woodford Bourbon Sour with Amaretto float was First Class. Shaken, strained, dry shaken, and poured into a coup glass for a beautiful presentation. Go see Emily, she'll make you an amazing drink.

Had 4 appetizers. Best to worse. The Genera Tso cauliflower was amazing. The lobster sticks were very good. The devil eggs were ok and the wings were average. The cauliflower salad was very good and the large is shareable. Loved the atmosphere and the service was very fast on a Friday. Will return and try more food

I usually do not leave bad reviews often, but I have experienced the owner of the restaurant very drunk on more than one occasion when visiting the restaurant. I do not find this behavior acceptable. The food was okay. The lobster fingers had a fowl smell, I think the batch was expired sea food. It was very loud and hard to have conversation. The drinks were great.

We have been here numerous times as it one of our favorite places. This is an update to my previous review 2 years ago you can see at the bottom. Recent visits have not really been what we are use to. Finally, our last visit over the weekend we were just done. We were extremely disappointed. Between the service, food quality, and overall atmosphere it was just a disappointing time. Service- our waitress was fairly new, but seemed to be familiar with everything. This wasn’t her first time waiting on tables. First, her appearance for a higher end (for York) was just bad. Yoga pants with a black sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had food all down the front of her and then she wore a winter coat over top which just gave you an uncomfortable impression. She would bring everything piecemeal and simple items like drinks had to be ordered multiple times and still took 20 minutes. She brought wrong drinks and acknowledged she knew it was wrong but they ran out of something so she just brought some other and didn’t even say so. Just deal with it as that’s what you get. Food- The menu has scaled way down and over simplified which is fine but the cooking has scaled way down as well. The food flavor and quality were 1 star at best but we use to live this place so I can’t bring myself to do it. The steak was to be medium rare but came well done. The shank was cold and obviously cooked a day or two prior and reheated being extremely dry and not edible. The appetizers were OK but not at all as delectable as they use to be and same as they always are and have been for some time. Atmosphere- This is no longer high end dining. It is a bar atmosphere. The dining is an afterthought. It’s loud, obnoxious, and waitress was more interested hanging out on that side than serving. We will go back and hopefully update this again to 5 stars. But, if it’s the same as now, 2 stars or less. ******************************************** There is nothing to say here but absolutely fantastic! Great food, they allow dogs on patio, service is in the top 2 of all restaurants in the area. Really an awesome night with my wife and all because of a backup choice that is a new favorite!

Something changed recently. I’ve been Lancaster’s biggest fan of RSC. Bring so many people here. But my own last two visits give me pause. Menu changed, and it’s not exciting anymore. Almost odd. Food quality has gone down in past three months. Did they lose their chef? I’m sad. My wife said the horrible words I never thought I’d hear “I think I’m over this place now.” She brought a friend before a show and it wasn’t great at all. Last night I took her just to have a typical amazing RSC dinner. The menu was sad, her entree luke warm. My burger was overcooked. Fries sad. I never did burger there before always did wonderful food but the menu wasn’t inspiring anymore. Even the coffee I was served was cold! The whole thing was our solid second let down. I’m sad.
