Restaurante Marisquería Serantes

It was a very good dinner we had at Serantes. The staff was very friendly, their English was wonderful and their service correct.

Magnífico, sensacional, galáctico. Bien decorado, servicio inmejorable y producto delicioso. Magnificent, sensational, out of this world. Beautifully decorated, unbeatable service and product.

To be honest, the food was underwhelming. Traditional cod with pil pil sauce wasn't seasoned enough - it felt just plain, the cod seemed to be undercooked, the sauce had no particular flavour. Normally, I wouldn't complain so much about that kind of food (it wasn't terrible), but it was really expensive and we expected more from it. The baby squid and fried calamaris were good, but, frankly, nothing special either. There was actually no thing about the food or this place that would explain the price. You'll get the same (or better) quality of food for much lower price in the area.
