Service was really good, positive, and accommodating! Really appreciated allowing us a last minute push forward so we could come in earlier. We had a really great atmosphere and a lot of room to sit and dine. Food portions are really good for the price. Very filling! We had a wonderful time. Thank you for having our family during our wedding day!

My wife and I finally went for our first supper at R62. Our server, Asher, was one of the best we've seen: skilled, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, solicitous, and funny. My wife had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, and the duck breast as her entree; I had the pacific octopus, followed by the rainbow trout. For dessert, we both had the creme brulee. Although it was almost a struggle to eat quite that much for supper, we both left empty plates. My 4 rather than 5 stars for Atmosphere might be unfair: The large, well appointed venue has "hard surfaces" throughout, facilitating maintenance of the punctiliously clean environment, but increasing the noise from surrounding conversations. As my wife pointed out, though, it is likely that only diners of my generation might even notice. Overall, we'd say that R62 deserves its continuing reputation as one of Abbotsford's very best restaurants.

Food was great! Absolutely loved the short rib and everything else highly recommend.

Expensive.

We went for dinner here the other night and had some absolutely fantastic food! We got the chickpea spread and pacific octopus to start. The bread and spread were amazing and the octopus had a wonderful dill sauce with a mix of spicy sauce. For the mains we had the pork chop, as well as a beef tenderloin feature that was accompanied by fried eggplant and roasted vegetables. The beef tenderloin was extremely tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The aus jus was incredible also. For dessert we had the pumpkin cheesecake option. Everything was fantastic and tasted perfect. Our server was friendly, had excellent timing, and added to a great food experience. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! We will definitely return and offer high recommendations to our friends and family.

The space, ambience, and prices are definitely upscale. The layout is aesthetically pleasing; I could imagine renting out their large room for a fancy party. The service was excellent. My friend and I both ordered the cheeseburgers; I tried the tomato soup as well. ($5 was an incredible bargain, it was delicious.) We both thought they were delicious. I'd like to try more items on their menu on a future visit.

You can always count on R62 to deliver a life-changingly good meal. Perfect spot for special occasions. Prices are reasonable for the level of culinary excellence you get to enjoy. These guys are amazing!
