If you like authentic xiao long bao, do not come here. I never write reviews but this place made me mad. The soup dumplings looked store bought and they added a tip to my bill which I saw later in my bank statements. Not cool. Their beef pancake had good flavor but was slightly greasy. Look elsewhere for Chinese food.
This store is disgusting. Don't go there!! First of all, he gave you a mandatory 18% tip in the bill, so we chose 0 tip when we finally paid, and when we looked at the credit card statement, he deducted another 18% tip!! Never seen such ugly eating!!! Two people more than 60 meal money hard deduct 95 dollars! It's no use calling customer service of bank! Everyone must avoid lightning in this store
Best ramen and dumplings I’ve ever had. The staff was very attentive and quick.
Speedy Service and the food is full of taste. Definitely worth checking out in Washington D.C. Spicy soups aren't too spicy. So definitely don't turn away from those. You will definitely enjoy eating here. Could get a little packed but definitely worth the meal.
Fantastic food and very fast service. Shining gem of a restaurant!
The food we ordered was pretty subpar; I ordered the Kung fu noodles, while my partner ordered the Reren spicy cold noodles. Neither bowl was spicy as advertised or had much flavor at all. I definitely don’t want to discredit this restaurant’s other entrees, but we came because of the good reviews, and left with rather lackluster results. The waitresses definitely make an effort to get people out of the door; we were handed the check before we even finished
The food is amazing, service is exceptional, and interior is adorable! I ordered a Kung-fu lamen with shiitake broth substitute, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I also had an original bubble tea, which was so much better than usual restaurant bubble teas. I accidentally spilled the tea all over myself and the floor (typical absent-minded behavior for me), and the staff were so nice and helpful about it. They had the mess completely cleaned up in 3 minutes flat, and went as far as to help me dry off my clothes with napkins. They even replaced my tea at no additional cost! The kitchen is extremely fast, takes substitutions, and makes delicious dishes. I wish I lived here so I could come more often. Absolutely completely totally worth it, would recommend!!!! 👍
Buen Restaurante. Los noodles delicious! Servicio y Atencion rapida
Below average Chinese food, fried chicken seemed cooked on a microwave - nasty
Very good and (I assume) authentic cuisine. Just my son and I and we did check the bill afterwards and there were no mistakes. The staff was courteous, friendly and prompt. We were served so promptly, our entrees came out about 2 minutes after the appetizer of sold seasoned (5 spice & salt) duck. I had their reren special ramem (lamen) and my son had the miso and tempura ramen. There was more than enough for us so we couldn't finish everything. We had tap water for a drink (free) for a total with tip of about $56. Not bad for DC with the amount of food. Good place and relatively cheap.
If you don’t bubble check for tips, you will pay it twice。be careful!!!!
Taiwan is not China. Don't sell Taiwanese dishes/goods if you do not respect Taiwanese people.
Sehr gute Qualität der Speisen, das Restaurant war um 14 Uhr bis auf den letzten Platz voll, die Leute stehen an um hier zu essen. Es ist einen Besuch wert. Man wartet auch nicht lange bis das essen kommt.
Great ramen and small appetizers. Def be back next time I’m in town
Great place to have lunch in a family friendly setting.
The Taiwanese braised pork over rice ($17 plus tax) was a well-balanced dish. The slightly spicy pickled greens contrasted nicely with the marinated minced pork belly. I do wish they gave more than just half of the tea egg. The matcha bubble tea ($6) was frothy and refreshing. Reren got quite busy but they did a great job in getting the orders out quickly.
