Worth of money. I found the best place. Lovely food. Mild tastes all the food. Vegetarian options: Yes in the menu Dietary restrictions: No Parking: A lot of parking Kid-friendliness: Yes it’s
Out of the way and easy to miss, this is a great little shop. Owner was polite, prices were much better then the Clifton Hill candy shops, and fudge was great!
Whenever I'm in Niagara, I always go to Reg's. Over 30 of the many years that he's been at it. Without a doubt the best fudge I have ever had.
They scammed me. I went to buy a day pass for the bus. Their card machine declined multiple times. They said it's a problem in the machine, they'll call the repairman, and asked if I have US dollars. They also said they "give back US dollars". So the day pass is 12 CAD. They took 20 USD from me and gave back 8 USD, taking 12 USD. They stole 3.11 USD = 4.2 CAD, which is over a third of the original price. When i asked, they said "This is not a bank, we give back US dollars"
Walking past it the first time, en route to the Bird Kingdom, it looked super busy, but we made it a point on the way back to stop here and was NOT disappointed! The owner is a super sweet gentleman and incredibly polite. We got two slices of fudge, a cherry slushie, and a #2 (two ice cream scoops on a medium cone) and everything hit the spot. The fudges were one of the best I've had in a very long time. Not excessively sweet, and with the perfect crumble. Great shaded location to relax, look out to the Rainbow Bridge, and just indulge our sweet tooth. Definitely on our "go to" whenever we return!
I go every single time I visit! Amazing service with amazing treats!
Got to give credit to Reg for being in the business for 56 years and for showing us what Canada is all about, was super polite and helped us pay our tickets for the boat ride for Niagara Falls. Very engaging and charismatic owner with such a bright smile, we also got ice cream, maple sugar candy and went on our way and hope to come in the future.
10/10 would recommend. We showed up outside one day and saw the sign said closed. As we looked inside Reg came out and greeted us, explained he was closing early for vacation but invited us inside anyway to look around. We had some nice conversations and purchased the best fudge I've ever had in my life from him. Was a wonderful time and an absolute must visit spot right underneath a border checkpoint. Reg had been at this since he was 18, and it's because he's the best of the best!
Sweet owner who was great in helping us get the Hornblower tickets. We have been to Niagara multiple times, but even before we got a chance, he was so forthcoming in wanting to help us get to the spot without issues. You don't see that very much these days. From getting a confirmation text, to ensuring we can access it, 'then' taking payment, to giving us the most accurate directions, to the lovely smell of maple when you walk in, we were happy to have come across this gem of a store, and person.
