Today we had dinner, we were celebrating my son's 9th birthday. There were a total of 9 people, and most of us ordered Grab Your Way (garlic butter) and the others ordered fish, lobster, shrimp, etc. Everything was nice and on point, our Server Lou Z. was always making sure we had what we needed even though he mentioned that he had a table at a distance from where ours were located at. The only thing negative about our visit was that my daughter had cole slaw as a side but it looked like the cole slaw was spoiled. One last thing I forgot to mention is that if you are going with a group of more than 6 people you need to call the restaurant because online reservations only allow you up to 6.
This was the worst experience I have had in 50 years. We go out to eat at least 2 times a week and have never had a worst experience than tonight. We walked in and told the hostess we needed a table for 2. He looked at us like we didn’t exist and put his hand up and said give me a minute. We were the only customers up front and there were at least 15 tables that were empty. He walked away and came back in about 5 min. and asked me how many people. I told him 2 again and he started talking to himself and waved his hand for us to follow him. He asked if a table was okay and took us to a round table for 6 people when there were tables and booths for 2 and 4 people all over the restaurant. He never would look at us straight in the face and we couldn’t understand anything he was saying. He was certainly either higher than a kite or drunk. He also never brought us menu’s when he took us to the table. We sat there for about 10 minutes and a waitress came past us and stared at us looking like what are you guys doing at this table. We finally got up and walked out. It was only the 2nd time in 50 years that we walked out of a restaurant. The first time was about 15 years ago in the same place.I understand that it is hard to find good help in the world today, but this was ridiculous.
Ordered fish and chips for take-out and I was a little disappointed. The serving is small and the coleslaw was not great. In fairness the fish was pretty good... however... for $20 it left a lot to be desired. I'll try a different restaurant next time.
Arrived and was told 30 minutes wait, waited 45 minutes and was finally seated, ordered food right away, took over an hour to get our food, waitress said there was some issue in the kitchen area, forgot my friends lobster tail with her surf and turf meal, all our food was not that warm or cold in some cases. Haven't been to a Red Lobster in a couple years and things have changed for the worst. Higher prices, smaller portions, food quality way down. Sorry don't know if I will be back and this chain will probably go under soon.
The service was great. Our waitress was extremely patient with our kids. My only complaint is the loaded baked potato was not loaded at all. I had maybe 4 bits of lobster it looked like 1 shrimp cut into 4 pieces and it was salty. The New England clam chowder was bland wa
Shrimp was very good. Recommend it
Great good, as always. I'm not sure how long ago the decision was made since I don't get here often, but I was sad to hear that the lobster bisque is no longer on the menu. A bowl of that with some of the fresh, warm biscuits to do in it was a perfect treat. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
I was disappointed 2yrs ago when I went there but this time everything was very good.
