Outstanding food and an exceptionally friendly staff. You won't be disappointed
This is maybe my 3rd time ordering from this restaurant. The first 2 times my food was amazing and that’s why this place had become one of my favorite spots to eat!! I just placed the order for Uber eats and upon eating my food I bit into a piece of raw undercooked chicken . I ordered the chicken masala which is normal pretty tasty, I’m not sure what in the world happened to this order. I am a little grossed out and I don’t feel like I will be ordering from this location ever again. I feel a little traumatized and to say the least I’m really disappointed. I know mistakes can happen, but this right here is truly unacceptable.
Restaurant manager, Mr Santosh went above and beyond to accommodate our seating requests, whenever I visit here am made to feel like family, this has been my favourite restaurant in DC for the past decade. Food and service are exemplary as well.
Haven’t eaten in here yet but the food is so delicious-and pretty similarly-priced to other Indian restaurants! Highly recommend.
Esteban is a fantastic waiter that gave his best
Yummy! Rasika exceeded my already high expectations, after learning about it on the show “Somebody feed Phil”. Great food, reasonable pricing, and solid service even with a totally packed house. Nice bonus: $15 valet parking! The Palak Chaat (deep fried spinach appetizer) was my favorite, it somehow kept its crunch even with the sauce/dressing. The sweet potato samosas tasted like the best parts of Thanksgiving with the cinnamon spice and cranberry chutney. Best naan I’ve ever had. So fluffy! Recommend the truffle naan. The lamb in the lamb roganjosh was super tender, although the sauce had slightly too much clove for my liking. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Went to check this place out tonight due to the high reviews. Sat at the bar. There was only one other group of 3 at the bar. Ordered chicken marsala, lamb roganjosh, and garlic herb naan. Marsala was good and the basmati that came with it was fragrant and fluffy. The roganjosh sucked. It was soup consistency vs curry and the lamb did not have any favor. It was clearly not stewed to have penetrating flavors. I cut my loses with this dish. Naan was good. The service was nonexistent given the bar was not busy. Took order, gave a glass of water, and then time to pay. That’s the extent of it. He forgot my naan which I waited for. Overall, not a memorable meal for the price. The ambience is uncomfortably dark. Clearly I’m not coming back for seconds.
