Rahul and Tray are down to earth people. Service was amazing and definitely an experience to try.
The spicy chicken bowl is so good! I got raita with it, which helped cool it down. The samosa chaat was also very delicious and fresh tasting. We also got a lamb kebab bowl which was likewise very tasty!
Food was solid and I like the colorful decor, but I got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitoes 🦟 inside. I think a bit of airflow (fan or A/C) or keeping the windows closed would go a long way to providing a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.
We were excited initially to try when we were visiting DC. However it didn’t go well for an Indian tastebuds. I would have liked Chipotle bowl or a Biryani or Chat separately, but not all together. Also place is not very clean. Waiters touching food without gloves. Sorry folks! Not coming again…
Quality and quantity have decreased significantly; two samosas per order vs three and they're very dry (and way too small), barely any sauce, beets and chickpeas are always undercooked and hard. Wasn't worth ~$15 before and even less so now unfortunately.
The manager was the sweetest kindest manager I’ve ever met and she tried everything in her power to help us but the food was just dry and not fresh and sadly Indian food that isn’t freshly cooked and just sits on a fire just looses the water content and flavor in it. Amazing team stuck with a challenging concept to pull off.
We tried the Aloo Need Is Love Bowl and the Tandoori Paneer Bowl. We really loved the Tandoori Paneer Bowl, and the sautéed spinach was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place!
No where close to india food.
Don’t come if you are expecting authentic indian food.
