I was in D.C. for work and this place was about 10 minutes from the NoMa-Gallaudet metro stop. I'm glad I tried it, the food was great! I carried out and they had everything neatly packed up for me when I got there. It's in a large shared building with other shops on the first floor.
Awesome food. I picked up something from another place and had some regret so I ended up trying this. Great service great food, made with care.
Ramen by Uzu Review: Tasty and Affordable Chicken Ramen
Located in Union Market, Ramen by Uzu specializes in chicken ramen with a flavorful broth that’s both good and reasonably priced. The portion sizes are generous, offering great value. I think the chef came from Toki Underground, adding to the credibility of this delightful ramen spot, but can't confirm.
Love the ramen, great broth and toppings
I am a japanese person visiting USA and wanted to try ramen in america. This place tasted soooo amazing and authentic!Better than some of the ramen places in japan!
Best Ramen I’ve tasted in US! I really like spicy miso (Korean heritage lol)
Decent Ramen. Nothing offensive but nothing worth raving also.
Noodles were cooked perfectly but broth lacks depth.
Nice folks though.
Absolutely some of the best ramen I ever had. Every element was flavorful. I also enjoyed the pork bun and the cold sesame noodles (the pickled ginger was such a nice touch!). This was my first time eating from her, but it definitely won’t be my last!
Honest review — we really did not enjoy the vegan miso ramen. Lacked depth of flavor and when we went to ask for sauces or spices, they only had some sort of onion/chili oil. The veggies were not cooked—it felt like they were kind of just thrown in as a last minute thought. The egg was cold and flavorless. Perhaps the pork and chicken ramen were better and that’s why many are giving them 5 stars.
