Ralph's on the Park

Lovely restaurant with a great view of the majestic trees at City Park. Fantastic king cake martinis and great food. The venue took an extra step to personalize the menu for our gathering. Give them a visit.

Fun dinner with another couple. All of us were very pleased.

We went there with our kids and grandkids for our 42nd Anniversary. Our waitress brought all of us a glass of champagne. Great experience.

We went for the lobster tasting menu month, all I can say is that the food was really subpar for the price point. The only good thing was the lobster bisque. The lobster remolaude was Costco spring mix with claw meat which is something I could have made at home. The worst offender was the entree which was unseasoned and bland. If you are spending $75 per person on a tasting menu, please go somewhere in the city like jewel of the south or Maypop or Brigstens. The only reason I am giving two stars is that they gave us a free glass of champagne for our anniversary which was a very nice gesture.

This was my first time at a Brennan's restaurant and I was NOT disappointed. The turtle soup was delicious and my only criticism is that the portion was small. I also ordered the shrimp and grits, which was delicious. I look forward to my next visit, as well as visiting other Brennan's restaurants.
