Rai's Pizza

Sorry to the other local place, which I still do like quite a bit, but Rai's has been our go-to lately when we want to get good pizza. To me it's highly reminiscent of the pizza I got as a kid in New York and really hits the spot. Definitely great traditional pizza, but I also highly recommend the cheesburger pizza which is different but incredibly tasty. Bonus points for having delicious fried cheese curds! Rai's Pour House next door is a great spot to grab a beer while you wait. Be aware, they do have their own pizza but it is different (still pretty good).

I ordered from here for the first time, pick up via GrubHub. My order was supposed to be ready by 12:20-12:30. I went in timely to pick up and had to wait a long time and got my order at 12:52 pm. When I brought it home, I saw the pizza wasn’t even cut into slices. I I don’t have a pizza cutter, and it was very difficult for me to cut with a small knife that I have. I got the 4 cheese pizza but the gorgonzola flavor was so strong, it over powered everything else and that was all I could taste, a mouth full of strong blue cheese flavor. I also got the deep fried cheesecake which to me just tasted like cream cheese filled phyllo dough fried. Not worth $10. Overall, it was frustrating waiting for that long just standing around because the employee in there did not even tell me that it would take this long and asked me to take a seat or anything. On top of that, the taste of the food was not worth it when I finally got home and tasted it. I don’t think I will be going back there.

These people that are leaving one star reviews are probably just haters. This is legit one of the BEST pizza and cheesesteak joints in the DMV. Service and atmosphere are amazing. Definitely worth the drive from Arlington! Will be back!

Every TV had hockey on it. Greasy pizza. And your bar stinks. Clean it up.

One of the best pizza places in all of VA

Best pepperoni pizza I’ve had in a long time. The crispy crust was perfect and the cheese-to-sauce ratio spot on. I really don’t like pizza that is like eating a grilled cheese sandwich. This one was perfect. It is too bad the pizza side doesn’t have more seating, but the bar side is right there. Music is always a bit too loud for my taste, but the food and drink and service are all top notch.

25$ for a steak and cheese is ridiculous. It’s the best in the area but not worth 25$ at all, crazy it just keeps going up in price.
