Both my wife and I had the steak pie it was amazing.

Best food for miles around.. but book ... Food & drinks: Great selection of ales and food .

Stayed there over Easter and it was lovely! The lodge was spotless and perfect for an overnight stay before Alton Towers. Lovely big hot tub too. Had both breakfast and dinner at the pub whilst we were there and we got lovely big portions of good food. Staff were very friendly for the whole stay. I think a lot of these reviews were expecting the ritz, but if you're expecting a cosy woodland lodge with a pub and great views, that's exactly what you're getting. I would absolutely recommend staying.

Food & drinks: Food was amazing would come here again

Average to below average food. Kids burger dry and overcooked. Steak decidedly average although cooked exactly as I asked for. Service was friendly and quick.

Decided to have a Sunday roast for not visited here for ages, last time could not fault the place. The roast was very poor over cooked meats, raw vegetables ( I know the difference between raw and al dente) Overall very disappointed and will not come back.

Log Cabins & Food. A group of us stayed in one of their log cabins and it was really good. Everything was clean and tidy and well kept. We also ate at The Raddle Inn. The food was good and portion sizes were big (we ordered to much), price was good to. The service was pretty quick as well. Overall good experience. Rooms: Log cabins where great.
