Ordered a deep dish pizza. Was not cooked all the way. Cold in middle and mushy bottom. The beef sandwich had a nice flavor, but for a papa being a big sandwich, it was not. So disappointing. They also charge a %for using your card.
Cozy place, great food. Hands down the best vodka sauce I've ever had. Paired with the toasted ravioli it's a house favorite. Great specials on Tuesday and Wednesday. Buy one get one pastas or half price 16 inch pizza. Nice local spot.
Disappointed in this deep dish Crust was very good but raw tomatoes in the sauce made it too watery ,we got just two toppings sausage and mushrooms.I will just get a deep dish when I go back to Chicago
I have seen alot of negative comments lately but to be fair for any one bad experience there are 20 + others that are great. People tend to only rate when they are not happy. I ordered a deep dish today and it arrived perfect and 15 minutes before expected. I don't generally give reviews but fair is fair. Take reviews as what they are.
We ordered delivery 2 hours ago with the website indicating it would take about 35-45 minutes. Almost two hours later, I called to check on the status to be told they are really busy. I asked to speak to a manager who asked if we ordered through Door Dash because the restaurant uses their own drivers. No apology, just an “it should be there soon.” Unacceptable. Ordering at 5:50 pm and getting right before 8 pm with us having to check on the order is bad business. Evidently they take the Door Dash fees for delivery ($80 for two people) and it arrived cold. Never had a problem dining in except they take a little longer but the food is good.
I'm a sucker for good pizza and this is really good pizza! I will take my clients here for lunch for sure. #AlexMedinaRealEstate
We had the Papa's Italian Beef sandwich. It was huge and delicious. Enjoyed the sports on all of the televisions. The bar was well stocked and just the right size for a local haunt. We plan on visiting again for drinks and appetizers.
Bring cash. Aggravating seeing the bill ran twice. Once for the bill and again with the tip. My preference is the Chicago deep dish and jalapeno poppers. It takes a Chicago deep dish pizza about 30-45 minutes to cook, but well worth the wait. A single slice is a meal and a large can easily feed 8 people. So a small 10 inch is good for a couple with over half going home.
I love their melts/oven baked sandwiches but why are you guys cancelling my order ??
