Best tasting, slow cooked, authentic Jamaican food in Charlotte hands down! I’ve tried them all. Good portions and friendly staff!

The service was horrible. The food took what felt like a couple hours to come out. The music was too loud. They never offered to refill any of our drinks. When the food did finally come out over half of the orders were not correct. Everyone's orders came out at different times instead of together. The food itself was good, but not worth everything else. We will not be back.

The low scores reflect my last visit. I took a friend whom I had bragged about the food to....we were to dine in. We gave our orders, but the wait was too long. I was embarrassed, he was angry, and it ruined the whole night. I do not understand why food like rice and curry, took so long. Two reasons restaurants fall off 1. Cold food 2. slowness in receiving food 3. rudeness. We never received food and we left after 1 hour. So, food was slow coming. 3. No one offered anything while we waited. I felt embarrassed and ignored. There was no one seated in restaurant to dine in. This was confusing too. I wasted 1 hour of my life. We left and went to another restaurant.

Authentic and tasteful steamed red snapper dish with fresh vegetables.LOVE IT! I traveled here from Raleigh after searching for a Jamaican restaurant that serves PUMPKIN RICE. Thank you and I will be returning with others. Bless Up!

I literally wish I stayed in Raleigh I be so careful eating food out here because i never like the food and this was the case it wasn’t necessarily disgusting but it wasn’t pleasant to me .. Mac and cheese scorched(taste a little burnt) , cabbage too sweet and the rice was clumpy and hard the chicken was ok could of been more flavorful and juicy you can tell it was warmed up I’m use to the jerk sauce being cooked in the chicken and poured over like a gravy not too loose but that’s the only thing I ate all of.. it says you get an entree with rice and 2 sides I got Mac and cheese and cabbage and was charged extra $2 . I told the cashier this was my first time you would think she would let me know it’s an extra charge to see if it was ok not that I mind but I found out on the receipt .. if I seen the food when I walked in I probably wouldn’t have ordered she did show me before I walked out but I’m not the extra person to do the most after I already paid and my whole plate made and I wanted to give it a chance .. I probably won’t go back .. the restaurant is nice tho!

Dude was in the place cooking and waiting on people all by himself all while being nice . The curry chicken and cabbage green ohhhh weee good good good .

I absolutely cannot explain in accurate detail how delightful my tastebuds felt after eating this meal! If ever anyone that reads this post finds themselves in Charlotte NC go and enjoy a good meal with good people! Find out for yourselves!
