The staff were really welcoming and really friendly, not to mention the food was absolutely incredible , definitely one of the best hidden spots in newcastle, will be coming back again and again

Used to love coming here however food was very average and pricey for what you got. Service felt really rushed, tried to clear my drinks twice when I’d barely touched them and slammed down bill without me asking for it, asking for payment when I’d got full coffee to go. Felt quite uncomfortable so left my drinks and went

This was a great spot for brunch. There was a queue when we arrived and from previous experience where there is a queue it usually holds up to expectations. And Quay Ingredient went above and beyond the expectation. The full English breakfast was delicious - they even brought me out a fresh poached egg when one of them popped before it got to me. Very good service, would 100% recommend!

Judging/talking about me and my cousin because my vegetarian order was “weird” I’m guessing. Was checking on this other table and cleared their table but ignored us. And after That service was slow.

The food is average, the service is extremely rushed, and the atmospheres unbearable at times. Not a great Sunday morning experience.

The cafe is cute and even though it was busy they were very efficient and barely had to wait. However, the breakfast tea was over 2 quid for just a cup, the full English doesn't come with beans (when I asked for them I was given beans but not told or reminded it was extra - simply charged for the beans and hash browns supplement without an acknowledgement). The french toast was small and very thin and the bacon not that crispy... It's got potential but the food let us down!
