Food safety should be a top priority for all restaurants because becoming ill from a restaurant can cost you in many ways. It can take your time, your health and your money and sometimes your life! I used to work for a company called Ecolab and took their food safety program called Servsafe so by habit I look closely at how restaurant employees adhere to food safe protocols. Today I saw a employee who had a big cartoon of tomatoes that look like it came from a food supplier, she grabbed the tomatoes out of the carton and proceeded to slice the tomatoes to make pico de gallo sauce without washing a single tomato. As you know, you should wash tomatoes or produce before chopping It up following safety and cleaning procedures stated in the serve safe training. All managers and supervisors are familiar with servsafe protocols and should immediately tell employees how to wash and prepare vegetables for consumption.. This makes you wonder how safe they are with other food products, such as meat or cheese, or other Ingredients that you consume from this restaurant. There is literally no excuse for this laps in food safety. This is a multi billion dollar company and they have the money to train all their employees nationwide.. Qdoba, you need to do better for your customers.
If I could give negative stars I would. Devoid of flavors that resemble anything Mexican.. the most American burrito I've ever had. Almost felt like it was from a bad movie scene at a cafeteria or prison where they just slop on by the ladle the worst stuff and then short you on anything good. Highly not recommended.
