Q39 - Midtown

This place was amazing. We had reservations (highly recommended) and they seated us promptly. The food was absolutely amazing. I'm a NC guy, and even this KC BBQ blew my socks off. Try the burnt ends and the Mac and cheese. You won't regret it.

Didn’t enjoy my time here. Felt like an after thought. Our drinks were never refilled. Burnt end burger was so greasy and wet the bottom bun disintegrated. Wings while they look good had a lot of fat chewy bits. Flavor on the wings wasn’t anything extraordinary. Mr. Burns was greasy and lacked much flavor even with the provided bbq sauce.

Absolutely incredible! The bacon wrapped shrimp is phenomenal. Brisket and burnt ends and carrot cake too! Bobby is a fantastic waiter/server/employee!

Always love our trips to Q39. The wings, pork belly, fries, poutine, and chipotle bbq sauce are my favorite. Our waiter was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Although, last time we ate there(Feb 1st for lunch), two of their staff kept gossiping next to our table. It was hard to enjoy our food with them chatting so much over our table, which was annoying. Overall, we came for the food and love the food.

Excellent BBQ Pork Ribs (rivals the best ribs in Memphis), Pulled Pork Bahn Mei Sandwich, and the Chocolate Brownie to top dinner off for my wife and I. Our service was excellent and friendly. We’ll be back.

My first time and we all enjoyed everything we ordered.
