The best Chinese restaurant in the DMV area. By a large margin. Try everything on the menu. It is superb. Especially if you like spicy Szechuan food. Parking: Big self paid garage close by

Q never disappoints. Family dinner last night was delicious! Particularly good were the chicken lettuce wrap appetizers and Ma Po Tofu, standard fare for a Chinese restaurant, but in Peter Chang's hands rises to outstanding.

Excellent quality Chinese food. The best in this area. Loved the spicy Sichuan wontons. I asked chef to make it authentic and not "laowai" style. Worth a visit.

On the expensive side for Chinese restaurants but I think in general you get what you pay for. The Peking Duck was very good, on par with other more upscale places like Lao Sze Chuan and Peking Gourmet in VA. The two dishes that exceeded my expectation were the Chinese Yam and Cabbage in Dry Pot, which was so flavorful, and the Peppercorn Sour Cabbage Fish Stew. The fish was so tender and the Sichuan peppercorns provided a very intense mouth numbing feel, which I love. The only dish I felt wasn't worth it was the Sichuan Chili Wontons. They were very tasty, but I felt the $14 price for 4 wontons was a bit too steep, even with the shrimp filling instead of pork. I expect to pay a bit more here, but I think you can usually get 6 to 8 wontons for like $8 so I felt like 4 was too little.

I have been to this place for several years, and it’s sad to see how it has drifted into a Michelin version of Panda Express: to the disappointment of Sichuanese friends who appreciate pure spiciness, but to the delight of other customers who love sweetened food!

We are happy to get some tasty, really spicy authentic food in bethesda, so we don't need to drive to rockville all the time. Only downside is that their dishes can be a bit pricey. Unlike other chinese places, their dishes are also smaller portions. Updated: We are back for more delicious . A couple years later, price has gone up and taste is not as good.
