Not the safest place for kids. Do not recommend. Puddicombe owner was hostile when I expressed concern about kids camps, lack of supervision, random people alone with kids, kids leaving group to walk to the bathroom by themselves and wandering the farm alone with strangers around, grounds unkept, sharp spikes in play land, unsafe equipment. Do not send your kids here. I pulled mine out of a week camp after first day. Don’t trust the people there. Be wary. ❌ This was in 2015 and they haven’t updated play equipment or previous saftey issues I had. Have heard from people visiting more recently that it’s still a dangerous play place for kids.

Very nice guided tours of the vineyard. There is even a miniature train that can transport guests to a grove of cherry trees for self-picking.

Visited this establishment on Easter weekend 2024. What a beautiful winery, and the rest is a huge bonus! The staff is so friendly. Arrived in RV (Harvest Club member). The owner came out to visit us and introduce himself. We walked around the winery and were blessed with beautiful nature and a couple of animals. During our visit to the wine store, we did some sampling and purchased 5 bottles of wine and some baked goods. The store has so many cute things to buy. We visit a lot of winery's when we travel, I would say this is the best one. Bring the children if you can, so many fun things to do. There's a 2km train ride ...so cool! Enjoy & Cheers!

Every single year, I visit the farm, and my kids love it so much. This year we couldn't take the train but we did the wagon, which was fun as well.

Second time going there in the past two years. Had a very relaxing afternoon there with my wife picking our own cherries, purchasing some of their exquisite wines and ciders and having their charcoal oven made pizzas. Absolutely recommend.

Stayed over night through harvest host and oh my goodness was there lots to do and see!! From walking the acres of fruit trees and vines to riding their on-sight train and sipping wine we had so much fun!! With so many flavours of wine and iced wine, to tones of ciders and tasty treats, this is a must see when visiting the Niagara region!! They are so informative and there over night spots are very spacious with gorgeous views of the vineyard, or you can rent their on-site train car converted rooms for a truly authentic experience!

The train ride was stunning views of leftover farm equipment and junk, the animals were in fenced areas with no grass, the peacock was in a small run full of weeds taller than the bird itself, chickens were in a small run with no water or anything. The poor rabbit inside was in an area too small for it move with water more dirty than a pond. Speaking of pond, on our train ride we passed the pond, complete with a dead goose floating by the broken alligator statue. Further down the track after passing the vineyard with corrugated pipes leading no where and crushed cooler cans stuck in the trees, we were lucky enough to see a decaying wild dog carcass right next to the track. All in all I'm sad I spent any money to support this place.
