Proper 21 - F Street

Me and my girlfriends tried this place for brunch for the first time. The name of the place seemed like an upscale place but it was your average restaurant. We got seated right away no wait. The menu was a very small limited selection. We got the small burger and the the poke nachos. However, what I didn't like is you had about 5 small children running around the restaurant while the parents sat at the table and drank their wine. Other then that, the atmosphere was nice they have outside seating area, bar area, and a regular area to sit.

The food was decent….. not at all worth the prices. The drinks are also overpriced. We had a party of 6 and gratuity was automatically added. I feel this was the reason for our less than mediocre service. We saw our waitress only three times, and none of those times was after our meal came to see if we needed anything. So, if you want just ok food and higher prices- this is your place. Would not recommend!

Kid-friendliness: 1st time at Proper. It's a busy restaurant, guess Proper is popular. I can see why- good food, drinks and friendly and very attentive staff

Love this place!!

Went with some friends for dinner. We had a great time at Prosper 21. Our server was attentive and really personable. The spicy rigatoni was tasty with just the right amount of kick to keep things interesting. The chocolate lava cake was a perfect end to the meal. The restaurant also has a good bar setup with plenty of screens to watch games, making it a fun spot to catch a match or hang out with friends.

I hosted a corporate happy hour at Proper 21. The entire experience from planning to day of was seamless. Their team helped select the food (since I was planning from out of state), the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the service was great! Would highly recommend planning an event at Proper 21.

Great food, especially the weekend Brunch
