Staff are friendly enough. However £2.75 for the smallest cake I've ever seen and £2.90 for a bottle of fruit juice seems bonkers. Tables are wobbly, there's rubbish on the floor and despite paying £3.20 for a coffee, it comes in a take out cup when I was staying in. This was explained with "since COVID we don't do china any more" which I took to mean that take out cups are cheaper and are better for Pret's business. This is the first time I've been here since Pret openned in Shrewsbury and I won't be going back.
Great coffee made by great people
Tried to enter at 4pm on a summer Saturday afternoon, was waved off by a member of staff saying they were shut - at 4pm on a Saturday… google even says 4.30…
Set in an incredible location where you can view bits of medieval Shrewsbury such as an old fireplace and doorways to the old mint. They provide a good selection of snacks and hot drinks for takeaway and eat in. A good spacious seating area which is kept clean and tidy.
A beautiful establishment offering all the usual pret offerings.
Excellent coffee and cake.
Food as good as ever the whole experience as you would expect, down marked the service as the tables were not emptied or wiped down disappointing
