PRESS Restaurant

Beautiful restaurant. I came here to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We chose the 5 course menu. Food was tasty but portions were TINY. I left hungry. What was most disappointing was the service. We seemed to receive subpar service, especially when compared to the 2 tables next to us. Our server did not introduce himself, explain the dishes, etc. The table next to us was also celebrating a milestone and received a celebratory dessert while we barely received a smile. I've eaten at several restaurants (Michelin star and not) in different places and the cold/poor hospitality here was palpable. I don't recommend dining here especially with all the other choices in Napa.

Great food. Terrible service. Felt like we were not given their standard treatment. Maybe because we are Asian. Cold service. Unpleasant tone. We told them it was our anniversary and they gave the table next to us a special dessert for their anniversary but not even a smile for us. Skip this.

What an amazing experience Press was! The food was thoughtful, extremely well executed and presented in a casual yet elegant way! Service was bar none with a team who is extremely passionate about the food and beverage. From the host to the sommelier to the wait staff we felt nothing but sheer excellence from the moment we walked in! Thank you Press!

Jeff our new friend recommended we come to the bar as we did not have a dinner reservation and we were not disappointed. We had delicious snacks and inventive cocktails from Ivan, Marisa and Michael. They made us feel at home while entertaining our wildest cocktail fantasies. 10/10.

We dined here shortly after they received their Michelin star, our server Roberto was incredible, and frankly the star of the show. The best dish we had was the Caviar Pretzel, though all the courses were very good. We were very excited about the wine program, which ended up being our least favorite part of the experience; it was just slower than we were expecting (resulting in some ordering cocktails), it was typically more than 15 minutes after we ordered a bottle through the sommelier before it reached the table... The Caviar Pretzel, Tour of the Wine Room, and Roberto were the real highlights of this visit!

Just finished an amazing anniversary dinner at Press. Jon and Roberto were our main servers and were both amazing and attentive. The staff running food from the kitchen were also a joy to learn from about each course. The food was as much a feast for the eyes as it was to taste. Our server Jon made the perfect wine pairing for us. It was an amazing meal to celebrate our love of food and each other. Thank you, Press!! Vegetarian options: While we did not taste the vegetarian options for every couse they do offer vegetarian items throughout. Parking: Very easy to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible establishment

We have had many wonderful meals over the years including chef menus from highly rated restaurants. We visit Napa Valley often but this was the first time we dined at PRESS. This was probably the best overall experience we have ever had. Our server even walked us to the door when we were finished with our meal…something you would experience at someone’s home. We were so impressed that we cannot wait to return.
