Great hotel for exploring Poole and the surrounding area, the staff are very friendly and breakfast was perfect. The hotel and rooms are getting a little tired, could do with a refresh. Rooms: Tired
I don't expect a lot from a Premier Inn, but this was especially poor. Premier Inn's are not the best hotels, but they should be a consistent 3* quality. This was not. - The rooms in this one were particularly tired and worn. The sofa/recliner had lost all its cushioning and so was uncomfortable to even sit on. - The shower could not keep a consistent temperature and on the hottest setting would switch between cold and then luke warm at best, meaning only I braved the waters. - When we came back in the evening and went to bed, we discovered the duvet cover was dirty and had (we think blood) stains on it. - The location sucks. You are in the middle of an industrial estate, surrounded by car showrooms only and so cannot go anywhere without a car. Overall very disappointed with somewhere for which I already had low expectations. Rooms: Worn down and tired. Found that one he duvet was dirty when we came back in the evening. Sofa was uncomfortable and worn out. Nearby activities: Nothing. It's in the middle of an industrial estate. Walkability: Poor. It's in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing around but car garages.
Very noisy as close to a busy road, so there is no chance of having windows open. Food in a nearby restaurant was very good. The quality of the rooms need some major TLC. Finding hair clogging the bath was disgusting, and the lady in charge didn't seem to interested. Great position for going places
Finally something went right with Premier Inn. Been a nightmare to get this booked but the staff and hotel are lovely
Rooms: Clean n spacious bedrooms, accessible parking, hotel reception n accessible rooms on street levels! They do have limited number of family rooms that accommodate family of 2 adult n 2 young children so that’s a very great value for families Food & drinks: Family-friendly restaurants; when an adult orders a full Breakfast or a Meal Deal, up to two under 16s eat breakfast for free! Freshly cooked bacon, eggs, hash browns and more, plus fresh fruit, cereals and pastries in the continental selection
Lovely hotel, friendly welcoming and professional staff. Thankyou
Was offered a room where the cleaners didn't change the bedding, went to go on the bed to see so much hair all over on duvet and mattress. But, the reception staff came and changed all the bedding. Then, there was fault with central heating, temperature wouldn't go below 25 c, so he got a fan and we switched off heating all together. Staff at breakfast were good, could improve if they can put a bit of smile. Felt sorry for reception staff that they had to make bed, thank you. Room No.116 Nearby activities: Run along the quay side. Good restaurants in easy reach.
Usual premeir inn provision, bar adjacent, took advantage of meal dral, decent quality and service, bar closes at 10, good access to lighthouse theatre, in safe walking distance
